How to Add Newsletter Content to Omnisend¶
Here's a simple guide on how to add your newsletter content code snippet to Omnisend.
Note
Do not send more than one newsletter on the same day. Each campaign or broadcast name must be unique. Hello Retail uses the date as a unique ID for products in newsletters, and duplicates can occur if names or dates are reused.
Prerequisite¶
Before you can create an auto campaign, you must create a newsletter content design. To learn how, click here. When your design is ready, proceed with this guide to integrate with Omnisend.
How to get your Hello Retail code snippet¶
Step 1: Log in to your Hello Retail account here and create an auto campaign for the product recommendations you want in the newsletter. (If you already created a design, skip to Step 4.)
Step 2: When logged in, navigate to: Newsletter Content > Auto campaigns.
- If you already have an Auto campaign config, click the Edit auto campaign config button.
- If you do not have an Auto campaign config, follow the steps below.

(Click "Create new auto campaign config" to create a design and code snippet)
Step 3: Fill out the fields. Choose either 2 or 3 products per row from the drop-down, and select how many products to show in total. (In this example, we show three products per row and six products in total in the newsletter.)
(Fill out the fields as shown)
Step 4: Optionally select fixed products, which will always be shown, and set a Recommendation strategy (or keep the default). Then click the Code snippet tab, select Omnisend as the Newsletter platform, and copy the code snippet shown.

(Select Omnisend as newsletter platform and copy the code snippet as shown)
Step 5: You are now done in the Hello Retail account and ready to insert the newsletter content into your Omnisend email template.
