List Search
Here is a list of things we recommend you to go through to make sure your search is working as expected.
Introduction
Before you start testing your solution from Hello Retail, please make sure that you are logged into your account: https://helloretail.com/company/signin.html
After you have logged in, please go to your website address to start the review.
Note also, that some browsers have limitations on how they treat attempts at "Cross-Site Tracking", so it might become necessary to adjust this in your browser, in case you are not able to see the HR panel widget.
Step 1
First, enable the List Search from the Hello Retail widget. (See figure 1)
On your website, click the search and make 1-3 test-searches to verify if it is working.
This is done by typing in different search terms into the search field.
Make sure the search term matches the products that are shown.

Step 2
Check the design & colors of the list search to make sure it matches the rest of the website.
Step 3
Verify that the prices are displayed the same as the rest of the website.
Step 4
Verify that badges are shown correctly (new/ on sale).
Step 5
If your search includes a buy button function on the products, please verify that the buy buttons work as intended.
Step 6 (Business only)
Verify that categories are working properly by clicking on a category link after a search-term has been entered.
Final Step
When you have checked that the list search works as expected, you can now push it live.
You do this by opening the Hello Retail widget panel from where you navigate to Search Configurations and here you select the search you want to push live and click the "Make Live" button.
Fullpage Search
The fullpage search is the end destination for your customer's search, if they did not choose to select any products from the List Search. Customers get to the fullpage search by clicking the "View All"-button on the List Search or by simply hitting "Enter" on the keyboard after a search is initiated.
Step 1
First, you have to make sure your fullpage search works.
- Make sure your fullpage search is active in the Hello Retail widget panel.
- On your website, activate the list/grid search by start typing a search term.
- Click the 'View All'-button at the bottom of your search to navigate to the fullpage search (By doing so you also make sure, you link is working properly).
- Now you are on your fullpage search. Stay here for the rest of the guide.
Step 2
Check the design & colors of the fullpage search to make sure it matches the rest of the website.
Step 3
Verify that the prices are displayed the same as the rest of the website.
Step 4
Verify that badges are shown correctly (new/ on sale).
Step 5
If your search includes a buy button function on the products, please verify that the buy buttons work as intended.
Step 6 (Business Only)
If you have any categories on your fullpage search, verify that they are working properly.
Step 7 (Business Only)
If you have any filters, test them to make sure they are working.
Final Step
When you have checked that the fullpage search works as expected, you can now push it live.
