Activities Log

Overview

The Activities Log feature allows users to view and interact with the change history of their Hello Retail setup. This guide provides an overview of the various elements in the Audit Log user interface and how they can be used.

There are no requirements to explicitly toggle anything on in order for this to work. Changes made to your setup will automatically be registered and categorised by type.

From the main entry seen below, users can get the list of all recorded activities, that have been registered for the current domain.

1) The date picker allows you to select a date range. The logs will update automatically based on the selected range. The chosen dates are inclusive.
2) Use the filter tabs to filter logs by resource type groups. You can always choose "All" tabs to remove resource filters.
3) To only get logs for a specific resource type click on a corresponding pill (>>) in the specific log entry.  This resource type will be displayed as a filter-pill, which can be removed by clicking on it.
4) Use the sorting dropdown to reorder the logs by different criteria (e.g., Newest, Oldest).
 

When more logs are available, than what is practical to be showing on any one screen, a "Load More" button will be displayed at the bottom of the log list. Click this button to load additional logs. Each log entry is displayed as a card in the log list.

Most activities that are possible to carry out through the dashboard are logged. These generally fall into the following categories:
Changes to the setup for all types of feeds (Product, Category,  Orders, Permissions)
Changes to the configuration and algorithms of Search, Recommendations, Pages, Newsletters, Triggered Emails and Retail Media.
