Trigger Types

  • updated 1 yr ago

In this guide, you can read and learn about the four different types of triggers that Hello Retail is currently offering via the Triggered Email feature.

Each trigger will be introduced here and a reference to a more in depth guide to each of them individually if you wish to learn more about a specific trigger.

Abandoned Cart

The Abandoned cart trigger allows you to send email notifications to visitors who have left behind products in their cart – without completing the checkout flow to finalize the order.

This is a great way to win back potential customers being distracted from completing their order.

You are required to track the cart of your webshop for Hello Retail to enable the Abandoned cart trigger.

If you are using Magento, WooCommerce or PrestaShop – the Hello Retail integrations are already doing this out of the box.

Price Drop

The Price drop trigger is a unique way for you to attract customers back to your webshop – when products they've shown interest in before are dropping in price.

By using Hello Retail, the individual product interest of customers are automatically tracked, and the price changes of your products are automatically monitored.

This allows for you to intelligently notify customers and draw them back. This will then generate even more conversions.

Back in Stock

The Back in stock trigger is a great way for you to pull back a customer to your webshop – when products they've been looking at but were out of stock at the time but that are now put back in stock at a later point in time.

When using Hello Retail, the individual product interest of customers are automatically tracked, and the stock status of all your products are automatically monitored.

This allows for you to intelligently notify customers which in turn will generate even more conversions.

Post Conversion

The Post conversion trigger is a smart way to automate and leverage the power of related product recommendations – and in this context, related and relevant products to a customer's past purchase(s).

You can configure the Post conversion trigger to automatically send upselling notifications to customers, with relevant and related products e.g. one week and one month after a recent purchase.
